In the small town of Everville, nothing exciting ever seems to happen. That is, until the night a meteor crashes into the woods. After the first mysterious, and gruesome, deaths the town has seen in decades; the police let the local high school know to keep a watchful eye on the children.
Abe Johnson lives in Everville with his brother and deadbeat father, who has all but shut everyone out since he retired, and his wife left them. Abe also has nightmares, and what he assumes was a dark fantasy soon seems to answer a lot of questions…
Finding his way back to the school, he quickly discovers that his nightmare was not only real, but the beginning of a brutal attack on this little town. Now, he must discover what makes his family unique, and the only ones able to stop this vicious monster.
